Working closely with a number of schools on the Isle of Wight is an important element of the IWCEP. Headteacher, Vanessa Hicks of Gurnard Primary School is a key member of our partnership and provides an invaluable link with other headteachers across the Island. Through the Lift the Lid Project we built up good relationships with thirteen schools who registered or re-registered for Artsmark, and we look forward to building on this in the future.
Schools and Colleges on the Isle of Wight participated in the Lift the Lid project in a number of ways:
- through the Isle of Wight Cultural Education Partnership
- by becoming a Lift the Lid Artsmark School
- by joining in with Lift the Lid funded Arts Award activity
